The Maypole Band
"The Maypole band are a group of acoustic musicians who have been providing music for barn dances for years & years, some of the members have been performing at these event since the 1960's. If you are stuck for ideas to provide enjoyable but alternative entertainment for an event then contact the Maypole band. The group, whilst acoustic, does provide good quality amplification & they have their own dance 'caller' who will select dances suitable for the skill level of the dancers & will, as the evening unfolds, teach more complex dances."

Oxford Folk Club
Oxford Folk Club meets every Friday in the Port Mahon on St Clements from 8.30 till 11.00. We alternate guest nights and open nights throughout the year and welcome all singers, musicians and audience equally.
