Wednesdays - Weekly 8.30pm Open Floor, 8pm guest nights. Most Wednesdays are open mic nights and all singers and instrumentalists are welcome to come and play acoustically. Every third Wednesday is a Guest Night (no open floor spots) and these are listed on the club website. Open Mic nights entry is free to club members, £1 to non-members. Prices on guest nights vary according to the cost of the guests. Club members get a discounted ticket price. Membership is £10 for the year.

"Bandbox is a group of music fans who hope to revive the live music scene for thoughtful, roots-based artists in and around Torbay. What does this "mission statement" mean in plain english? Tutor MC is Ron Rudd who will take everyone, beginners, learners, newcomers through the basics of the contra movements so that anybody can join in from the word go. No need to bring a partner. Changing partners (very important every dance so that you dance with everyone) in contra dancing, is all part of the normal activity.
Live music is provided by "Meltdown Band" to provide the driving rhythmic beat or pulse to enjoy everything at the right tempo, a high energy evening, bring a bottle of water!
